Are you looking for a fun volunteer opportunity with flexible hours?
If so, Kid Quest needs people like you! If you volunteer with us you will be helping wonderful children and young adults 4-22 years of age with special needs explore the wonderful opportunities that our community has to offer.
Our program’s goal is to facilitate our participants' socialization and recreational skills in a community setting, as well as at the Quest Social Center. We do so by offering monthly events such as: bowling, swimming, movies, Boardwalk adventures, hiking, special events at State Parks, and we hold classes in music, art, dance, theater, and cooking as well.
As a Kid Quest volunteer you would be assisting the leaders of these programs in facilitating the participant’s socialization between one another as well as between the community and our participants. “Kid Quest” is for children between the ages of 4 and 13 years and those events are geared towards developing autonomy and friendship skills for children in that age group. “Club Quest” is for young adults between the ages of 14 and 22 years, and those events are geared towards helping improve the participants social and community skills as well as the confidence for independence.
